LGBT Art Premiere at Brooklyn Museum

I had the most marvelous time at the premiere gala of the opening of an amazing art exhibit called Hide/Seek: Difference and Desire n American Portraiture, an art exhibit and event that celebrates the achievements of the Queer Community in Art, Music, Film and Literature at the grand Brooklyn Museum on Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, New York. There was a discussion and lecture with the acclaimed Jonathan David Katz, the curator of the exhibit. There was also an awesome live concert with Out musicians and recording artists that included dear friends Ariel Aparicio, Nhojj and others. And a lively disco dance floor with music by DJ Tikka Masala. Fine Art, lively dancing, culture and great friends made for a terrific evening

DMFAO Pre-New Year Opening

I was so glad to make a special celebrity appearance and attend the a Pre-New Year's Eve gala and official Grand opening of New York City's hottest and most glamorous Dance party DMFAO at a grand nightclub in Midtown called District 36. The place is a prime example of New York Fabulous Nightlife and we all had a fantastic time with a fun crowd, chic ambiance and a state-of-the-art high-tech sound system. The evening was also a birthday party for videographer Francis Legge and promoter Mark Nelson. Music was by DJs Junior Vasquez, Nesto, Anton Bass and Formika. We enjoyed amazing live performances by Sylvia Tosun and Sesily Treasure of the Pussycat Dolls. I had such a marvelous time with my fabulous friends of the Arts and Nightlife scene including recording artists Lovari, Oh-My-Josh, Baron and J Fortino, TG icons Amanda Lepore and Dina Marie, artist Tracy VonBecker, producers Ravi Ramadeen, George Mikel Kreal, Yusef Xtravaganza, Kevin Novinski, club personalities Sideshow Bob, Romeo Tragedy, Cherry Jubilee, Thorgy Thor, James Orona, Jay Roth, Johnny Stanford, and many more!

Stonewall Democrats Holiday Cheer

This past year has made tremendous progress in LGBT Civil Rights, so it was very festive at the annual Stonewall Democrats Holiday Party. I was once on the Board of Directors of the Stonewall Democrats of New York City, a powerful caucus that helps direct and advise the Democratic party in New York City on Gay issues and causes. The holiday soiree took place on December 13th at The LGBT Community Center of New York City. The guest list included City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, City Councilman Danny Dromm, NY State Assembly Members Danny O'Donnell and Dick Gottfried, Former City Comptroller Bill Thompson, Eric Bottcher of Governor Cuomo's office, judicial delegate Melissa Sklarz and many more political activists and elected officials.

'Tis the Season to be Jolly! And what better way to feel jolly than at the new DMFAO dance party at the awesome new dance club District 36 in mid-town Manhattan with the amazing new state-of-the-art sound system and dazzling chic interior design? Adding to the yuletide delights was my catching up with my dear friend Rafael Alencar and other sizzling gentlemen from Rentboy. The mistletoe was hung very well, very well indeed!! SoHo Holiday Art Gallery Celebrating

I had a wonderful time celebrating the Holidays at one of the most prestigious high-end Visual Art Galleries in the SoHo fine art district in New York City, the William Bennett Gallery on Prince Street in Manhattan. I met so many wonderful friends and colleges in the Art world and we enjoyed cranberry martinis, cocoa and sparkling Italian water with yuletide pastries and desserts. There was even a fantastic live jazz band! We decked the halls among original works of the most famous modern artists like Salvatore Dali, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro and many others.

"Icons" Fierce Drag in Times Square!

I had a fabulous time at the opening night of the newest and hottest Drag Show in New York City! Icons, a casino-style musical gala with Drag Celebrity Female Impersonators and the necessary hunky bare-chested male back-up dancers, opened at the Snapple Theater in the Times Square Broadway Theater district on November 25th. The show was truly amazing with two Drag performers, Brianna Andrews (Ricardo Torres) and Dennis Williams who invoked Lady GaGa, Beyonce, Tina, Britney, Cher, Madonna, Michael and Janet and many more! The girls were accompanied by the most astonishing and talented dancers who had all the right moves and looks. The show provides the fiercest and most fabulous Drag talent with some powerful and awesome dancers, making it the most electrifying showcase to hit the City in a long time! Power to the Divas!!

I had an interesting yet fun time at the studio of April Brucker, famed Comedienne, Ventriloquist and actress from NBC's Last Comic Standing and Avenue Q, where we set out to record a hilarious TV episode for Confessions, an Internet based Television program where we joked and talked about friends, enemies and our love-hate relationships with "Frenemies." Comic Peter Magierski and Drag Diva Ivy were also present. April brought out her side-kick puppet May and we all made it through the evening.

"Meet The Breeds" Four-Legged Friends and Fashion

I had the most "purr-fect" time at an amazing event that showcased over 200 different breeds of pedigree dogs and cats! I made an appearance for a new media project at "Meet the Breeds" at the Jacob Javitz Convention Center in New York City. I loved meeting all the wonderful people and animals and discovered some exotic new breeds, like the "Toyger" cat that looks amazingly like the wild Tiger! I also loved seeing the Cairn Terriers, the breed of Toto of the "Wizard of Oz", the leopard spotted Bengal cat, the elegant French poodles, the cute Mexican Hairless, the outlandish Gypsy Dog (Bedlington Hound) and many others! I especially enjoyed the Cat Fashion Show. I went with Tony Sawicki and I loved meeting City celebrities Schmitty the Weather Dog and meteorologist Ron Trotta.

I had a great time at one of the hottest and the only weekly nightclub party for Transgender and CrossDressers and friends and admirers in Norther New Jersey. It's called Amanda's Hide-A-Way and its loads of fun. It was formerly Karalyn's Oasis, one of the legendary Trans parties in the NYC Tri-State area. Karalyn retired and handed over the reins to the party to Amanda, who hosts a fantastic evening in the PL Lounge in Hackensack, New Jersey. Real Housewives of New Jersey & Jersey Diva

I loved making my appearance on November 5th at the F Word party at club Splash in the Chelsea section of New York City, where cast members of the Bravo reality TV series The Real Housewives of New Jersey were in the house. Being originally from New Jersey, I loved mingling with other VIPs from the Garden State with a Shore. Gregg Bennett, the Gay roommate of the Italian sons of one of the Housewives was so charming and gorgeous. I also loved dishing with Kathy Wakile and many other Jersey girls and guys in the house. Lady Bunny "That Ain't NO Lady!"

I had a blast at dear friend and "sister of the cloth" legendary Lady Bunny's new hit one-"women" show titled "That Ain't No Lady" at the notorious Gay Latin Nightclub Escuelita. Bunny was hilarious and over-the-top as always and had everyone rolling in the isles with laughter. The show had jokes, song parodies and hot videos and appearances by hot Hispanic young men that Escuelita is known for. I covered the show for an entertainment news segment for Under the Pink Carpet. But Tony Sawicki and the editors will have their work cut out for them with figuring out what takes would be suitable for broadcast on television and FCC standards.

Halloween Fun - Triangles in Connecticut

It was so much fun traveling to New England with my dear girlfriend Rolanda Rose up to Connecticut for my special appearance at Triangles Cafe' the hottest and most exciting Gay Nightclub in the State. That night was the monthly party for Transgender and Cross-Dresser people and their friends and admirers. We kept the Halloween costume theme and I had a blast with so many friends. It was a wonderful mix of Transgender, Hetero CrossDressers, Gay Drag Queens, Straight, Gay and Bisexual party-goers, who all had the best time, dancing, dishing, flirting and showing off some fabulous costumes! Jersey City - Hudson County - New Jersey Pride!

I had a wonderful time at the Hudson County LGBT Pride Festival on October 9th at the beautiful Exchange Place Waterfront plaza in Jersey City, New Jersey. It's located on the Hudson River at New York Harbor with a boardwalk pier that has breathtaking views of the lower Manhattan Skyline and the Statue of Liberty. The Hudson Pride Festival shows that there is also a Gay community and citizens on the West side of Hudson River right across from New York City. Being originally from New Jersey I am delighted to be making an appearance and be part of this cultural festival and concert. Over seven hundred fun-loving folks joined in on the fun.

Michael Musto Book Release Gala at The Copa

I had the most wonderful time making a special appearance at the book launch celebration for the release of the latest must-read from my dear friend Michael Musto of the Village Voice. His new book is called "Fork on the left, Knife in the Back" and its an amazing and scandalous recollection of Musto's awesome experiences he has had dealing with all the celebrities, nightlife characters, drag divas, reality show personalities and other denizens of the media and show-biz he deals with every day. The event took place on September 13th at the legendary Copacabana, "the hottest spot North of Havana," where "Music and passion are always in fashion." Although Musto called it "Ricky Ricardo's wet dream." The only things better than Musto's books, are his parties. This one contained the most vast and diverse array of guests ever including Jerry Springer, Lisa Lampanelli, Countess Luanne (Real Housewives of NY), Geri Reischl (Jan Brady), Aunt Barbara, Robin Byrd, Ari Gold, Tracy Von Becker, Frankie C, Lovari, Jed Ryan, Rob Ordonez, Murray Hill, Dirty Martini, Larry Storch, Jackie Hoffman, cast members of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Chip Ducket, Sara Palin and many others. 'Project Runway' Reunion Party at Vlada NYC Fashion Week

It was tre' chic making a special appearance at the Project Runway reunion party, a very fashionable soiree where the designers of the mega hit television reality series all got together to celebrate Fashion Week in New York City. Birthday Celebrations are always fun, the the annual "Kings & Cowboys" celebration is among the best ever! The event observes the birthdays of the Original Cowboy from the iconic disco group The Village People, Randy Jones and actor, model and the King of NY nightlife promoter Keith Collins! We all had a great time reveling in the 70s/80s culture and music. This including having the pleasure to meet Geri Reischl, who played Jan Brady on the fabulous, kitschy Brady Bunch Variety Hour which ran on the ABC network in 1976-77. The soiree took place on September 17th at Club Foundation in the trendy, hip Lower East Side of Manhattan.

Lips restaurant, the ultimate in Drag Dining, celebrated its 15th year anniversary on September 25th. The establishment moved from Greenwich Village to East 56th Street in Manhattan last year. The fabulous eatery features Drag waitresses who put on exciting shows on a new lavish stage while serving their customers at dining tables. Myself and other Drag performers in NYC like Jesse Volt, Sherry Vine, Zondra Foxx and many others were on hand to help celebrate the festivities. Congratulations to Lips!

Curating Visual Art Showcase in SoHo

I was thrilled and honored to curate and produce a fantastic visual art showcase called "Bright Lights Queer City" at the legendary Leslie Lohman Gay Art Foundation in the arts SoHo district in New York City as part of the annual Fresh Fruit Festival. The show featured images that celebrated Gay and Lesbian Nightlife in New York City. The show was co-curated by dear friend and SAG actor/recording artist Lovari and the opening night reception was hosted by Michael Musto of the Village Voice. The event rocked the Art and Nightlife communities with a jam-packed premiere that attracted over 700 attendees.

This annual Gay Pride Day was especially Proud, Joyful and Historic. Just two days before the annual Gay Pride Parade in New York City, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the bill that made Gay and Lesbian marriages legal in New York State. I had the pleasure of being invited to march in the Governor's contingent which led the Parade. This year's parade was one of the most highly attended with the wonderful equality law being passes. Being at the beginning of the parade with Governor Cuomo and hearing all the loud applause and cheers throughout the rout was thrilling and exhilarating.

Mayor's Pride at Gracie Mansion

I was invited to make a special appearance at Mayor Bloomberg's annual LGBT Pride Reception held at Gracie Mansion on the Upper East Side of New York City. Unfortunately, the Mayor's mother passed away the evening before, but Deputy Mayor Patty Harris did a great job filling in for him. Village Voice Columnist Dan Savage received a special honor for his "It Gets Better" project where videos are made to give support to LGBT Youth who are suffering from bullying. The event was held in the gardens where a special tent was set up. It was wonderful running into old friends and movers and shakers of the LGBT Community of New York City.

Pride at 'Proud Music' Concert tour

I had the most wonderful time as the co-host and performer at the Proud Music Concert tour kick-off at Fat Baby nightclub on Manhattan's Lower East Side on June 17th. Proud Music is a networking organization that provides support and performance opportunities to openly Gay, Lesbain, Bi and Transgender recording artists and musical performers. The talented recording artist Lovari co-hosted the concert with me that featured amazing power-house performances by rocker Ariel Aparicio, pop artist M.E. Grant, country western from Karen & The Sorrows and a funky / folky set from Lindsey Wilson. My gorgeous friend Jed Ryan accompanied me during my musical number of Sparkling Diamonds. The house was packed and we all had the greatest time!

I so much enjoyed making my appearance at the sixth annual "Made In NY" Awards, taking place outdoors in the gardens of Gracie Mansion, the official resident of the Mayor of New York City. The event was presented and hosted by Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Katherine Oliver, Commissioner of the Mayor's office of Media and Entertainment. The honorees included Matt Damon, Foursquare, John Leguizamo, Stacy Spikes, Smuggler, Lauren Zalaznick and Sidney Lumet. I have the pleasure of working on and being a producer and correspondent on a Television series Under the Pink Carpet, which in Made in NY and shown on the Mayor's television station, NYC Life WNYE Channel 25-1. I had a great time with other stars from other shows on NYC Life and with many of my friends in TV and Film.

Each year, thousands of television shows, feature films, commercials, music videos, documentaries, print ad campaigns and media projects are made in New York City, the entertainment capital of the world. Our Made in NY campaign recognizes and celebrates these productions, which are a testament to the endless depth of talent, resources and spectacular locations in the City.

Hosting NYC Pride Kick-Off on Lower East Side

I loved being the Hostess for New York City's Pride Kick-Off on Manhattan's Lower East Side on June 4th. We had a blast at the Gay Pride Month launch with an outdoor street-fair called "Pride Goes East." There was food, drink, shopping, fun and superb entertainment by openly LGBT recording and performance artists. Headlining was my dear friend Sir Ari Gold who put on an amazing show with musicians and dancers. My gorgeous buddy Josh Zuckerman also gave a powerhouse performance. Emperor Vanity Society, Johnny Lucky and other friends from the Imperial Court of NY and many others were also on hand to add to the festivities. It was a beautiful day and we all had the most amazing time at the first official Gay Pride celebration of the year!!

Sure Bet: Pretty in Atlantic City!

Being a Jersey Girl at the Jersey Shore has become so Chic! I loved my Memorial Day weekend adventure in Atlantic City, NJ. For the first time in history, a Gay nightclub has appeared inside a Casino Hotel. Prohibition is the name of the club and its right inside Resorts International Casino Hotel, which is the first legal casino to open in Atlantic City in 1978. The Resort has been redecorated with a fabulous, glamorous, art-deco, roaring 1920s theme, keeping in tune with the hot new HBO series, Boardwalk Empire, which takes place in the jazzy decade. I loved making my appearance at the new Gay club on the shore and also at the fantastic new Drag Celebrity Impersonation showcase Believe: Divas in a Man's World. The show was amazing with dazzling replica costumes, sexy back-up dancer and awesome lighting! Spot-on impersonations of Bette, Liza, Cher, Prince, Aretha with a Joan Rivers host makes for hilarious, fun and awe inspiring entertainment. Its playing at the Screening Room Theater. Mass Transit, Mass Media Model

I’m thrilled to be part of a media market campaign for NYC Life Television that has my picture featured on thousands of posters inside the subway cars of New York City’s mass transit system. Millions of people from all over the Metropolitan Tri-State area ride the subway every day and will see my pretty lipstick framed smile! I’m right in the middle on the bottom of a poster about NYC Life television in a line-up of other celebrities from shows that are featured on the station.

Juicy: The Fresh Fruit Awards (The Fruities)

Fresh Fruit is a healthy snack, but its also the name of a dynamic, diverse and colorful Gay Arts Festival held every year in New York City. I was delighted to be the Red Carpet hostess for the smashing extravaganza! The Fruits of Distinction Awards were held at the Jan Hus Theater on the Upper East Side of NYC on May 5th. Distinguished and seasoned Artists like Tony Award and Drama Desk Award winner John Glines as well as cutting edge Downtown performance artists were both in attendance. Performers included colorful puppets from the Royal Squirrel Puppet Theater and Lovari who opened the show with me! Other fruity winners and artists included Jahnilla Akbar, Marilyn Bernard, Xander Chauncey, Teresa Fischer, The Icky House Club, Omar Prince, David Ray, Thos Shipley, and many others. Rev Ray Bagnuolo, Bruce Robert Harris and Jack W. Batman took home special Harry Weider Awards for outstanding Community service.

BINGO at Jersey SAGE Launch

BINGO Caller for Transgender Legal Fund

I was so happy to be co-host and BINGO number caller at The Will Clark Show featuring Porno Bingo at Pieces Bar in the West Village of Manhattan on March 30th. My dear friend Emmy winning recording artist Janid Ortiz was also a performer there that evening. The beneficiary from the funds raised at the BINGO games was TLDEF (Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund) and it was great to meet up again with the organization's chair, Michael Silverman. Part game show, part talk show, all fundraiser, The Will Clark Show has raised nearly $150,000 for NYC based LGBT charities since the show began in February 2005.

I had so much fun as an entertainer for the largest 'Golden Girls' tribute show in the world. 'We Love The Golden Girls' had its forth annual extravaganza honoring the classic 80s television sitcom. Cabaret and Nightlife personalities of New York City along with Dorothy, Blanch, Rose and Sophia impersonators galore gathered to swap St. Olaf stories, remember Blanch sex-capades, gorge out on Cheesecake and have a blast while pretending to be in Miami. The event took place on March 26 at the legendary Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village NYC.

It was a fun-filled and media filled event with me being taped for a show called Stuff on the OWN Network and I had my picture appearing in Next magazine, The Gothamist, Metromix and the NY Daily News!

The exposition was held for two days and contained top entertainment from nightlife and recording artists. It was an event for openly LGBT and supportive professionals who work in the media, television, radio, print, and recording arts. I loved meeting the handsome and intelligent NBC Meteorologist Raphael Miranda, who hosted the panel. The panel included David Bloch of Focus Features, (producers of Brokeback Mountain, Milk and The Kids are All Right), Josh Rosenzweig of Here! and Advocate, Michelle Kristel of In The Life Media and Amy Lesser, editor of Go! Magazine and Quincy Morris creator and producer of the web series In Between Men. They provided some interesting viewpoints and some very useful and insightful information. It was also fun to meet the actors from In Between Men and others who work at NBC, Logo and the industry. It's always a pleasure to see the lovely Sekiyah Dorsett of NBC Universal. Recording artist Lovari (Take My Pain Away, Work It Out) LeNair Xavier, Mark Schulte and so many other friends and colleagues were also there.

The over-200 singing members of the Chorus performed beautifully under the artistic direction of conductor Dr. Charles Beale. I was thrilled and honored to be the Host of of the main-stage performance show at Jersey City's tenth annual Gay, Lesbian, Bi and Transgender Pride Festival on August 28th. It was also the historic very first Pride March that took place through the streets of Downtown Jersey City to the Exchange Place Waterfront Plaza, where the festival took place. Performers in the festival included recording artists Lovari, Athena Reich, Scotty Gage, J. Fortino, Amber Rose Marie, Ron B as "Tina Turner" and many others. I was amazing to host a show right on the Hudson River with the New York City skyline behind me as I introduced my favorite talented performers. And I loved meeting Northern New Jersey's most esteemed politicians. I was pictured and mentioned in The Jersey Journal, the largest newspaper in Hudson County.

The Art of Drag

I made a splash as I attended a premiere of a visual fine art exhibit at the Ripe Gallery in Greenlawn Long Island New York. The show was titled "My Better Half" and it consists of digitally enhanced photo images of famous Drag Queen personalities interacting with their male creators. The images are created by renowned photographer Rick Odell and I, Lady Clover Honey am proud to be one of the models. The art was also showcased in the Strike A Pose group exhibit in the Leslie Lohman Gay Art Foundation Gallery in SoHo NYC, part of the annual Fresh Fruit Festival.

GOOTH Nightlife Gala

I was honored to be nominated for a NYC Nightlife Award presented by GOOTH (Get Out Of The House) magazine. I was nominated for Best Comedian. Unfortunately, I didn't win, but as proven by Susan Lucci, being nominated is an honor all to itself! It was an evening filled with glamor and excitement that happened on, August 7th at one of NYC's hottest and largest gay nightclubs, Splash! Myself and Tony Sawicki of Under the Pink Carpet were award presenters for the Best Reality Show personality which went to RuPaul, but she wasn't present to accept, she told me she was stuck on the West Coast in LA. I had a marvelous time mingling with New York's premiere Q-List of nightlife personalities, Drag Divas, Go-go guys, Bartenders, Promoters, Mangers, DJs, Recording Artists and others!

Bronx LGBT Pride

I had a great time being part of Bronx LGBT Pride! The Northern most borough of New York City had a Festival celebrating the Gay culture and citizens of the area. Bronx, the borough known for Yankee Stadium and Bronx Zoo is also home to a vibrant and thriving Gay, Lesbian, Bi and Transgender Community! The Bronx Pride Festival was held on August 15th in Crotona Park. I had a great time with my sister Drag Divas, Appolonia Cruz, Tyra A. Ross, Sahara Davenport of RuPaul's Drag Race, and also with Anthony Rodriguez of Madonna's Drowned World tour, Recording Artist Lovari, Dirk McCall and many others!

'Shore Thing' a Winner

I was beaming with pride and joy when I found out that Shore Thing, an amazing film that I play a part in, won a prestigious award for Best Suspense Film of the acclaimed New York International Independent Film and Video Festival! I attended the Awards Gala held on July 12th at the posh Club BLVD in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood! Shore Thing was produced and directed by the multi-talented Lovari with Photography and Cinematography by James Hill. We all had a great time at the awards banquet with Lovari, James Hill, Rashika Pickett, Ahmad Hilton, Kathyrn Dunn and others, mingling with all the film-makers and festival directors.

NYC Mayor Bloomberg's Pride Event at Gracie Mansion

I was honored to be invited to a special reception of prominent people in New York City's LGBT Community hosted by Mayor Michael Bloomberg at his home, Gracie Manion on June 23, 2010. On a beautiful summer day, the soiree took place in the lavish gardens complete with breathtaking river views! The Mayor mad a shocking announcement that he was "Bi" but the joke was that he was actually "Bi-Partisan" with him being the first Mayor elected (in his new term) without being on the Democratic or Republican ticket.

I work as a correspondent and producer on a television series, Under the Pink Carpet which is broadcast on NYC Life television, part of the Mayor's Office of Film, Theater and Broadcasting.

I had a the great pleasure of meeting Liutenant Dan Choi, who challenged out nation's Ban on openly gay service members in the military. Other guests included City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, Out City Council Members Dan Dromm and Jimmy Van Bramer, Jeff Lettiere of Out magazine, Matt Banks of HX magazine, Lovari, Jed Ryan, Mel Reyes, Dirk McCall and many others.

I had a wonderful time at New York City Council's LGBT Pride reception. It took place right in the magnificent Council Chamber in New York City Hall. Out City Council Speaker Christine Quinn was a perfect host at this reception with other Out Council Members Rosie Mendez, Danny Dromm, and Jimmy Van Bramer. Wendy Williams also made an appearance as well as Out country western star Chely Wright, recording artist Lovari and others.

'Violet Tendencies' Film Premiere

It was time to attend Newfest, the annual LGBT Film Festival of New York City. I was thrilled to attend the Premiere of the new movie Violet Tendencies. I had a part as a Drag Queen party attendee in the film that was written by dear friend, Jesse Archer and directed by another amigo, Casper Andreas. The film starred Mindy Cohen (Natalie fromvthe 80s sitcom Facts of Life) as a Fag Hag who was trying to give up her Gay Male buddies in the hopes of finding a Straight guy for a steady boyfriend or husband. The screening took place at the SVA Cinema and the after-party was held in the beautiful lofty Chelsea Art Museum. I had a wonderful time with others in the film like Margret Echeverria, Sam Whitten, Kim Allen, Armand Anthony, Lovari and others. Also, my friends from Under the Pink Carpet Stephanie Butler and Tony Sawicki were there to produce a entertainment news segment for NYC Life television.

The Furits of Distinction Awards: "Fruities"

On June 21st I had the honor of being the Hostess of the Fruits of Distinction Awards (aka The Fruities) honoring those who contribute to the Arts and the LGBT Community and to outstanding artists who participated in the Fresh Fruit Festival, an annual celebration of visual, cinematic, comedy, dance and performance art held ever summer in New York City. The awards were presented at a gala ceremony held at the prestigious Jan Hus Playhouse theater on Manhattan ’s Upper East Side. The ceremony was co-hosted by Frank Calo and my sexy dancers and models, Miki Alvarez and Noriel Galianco were on hand as trophy boy models. My dear friend, Appolonia Cruz was also there as a fabulous greeter. Another dear friend, Tony Sawicki, the creator of Dish Miss and the television series Under the Pink Carpet was honored with a Fruit of Distinction - Passion Fruit Award for his outstanding contributions to and support of the LGBT and the Arts Communities.. Other Passion Fruit Award recipients included openly-gay NY State Senator Tom Duane and legendary playwright Doric Wilson. Those presented with Artistic awards included .Nohjj for music, Craig Fox for acting, Judy Guyill for Directing, Marissa Maislen for Choreography and Caren Jo Shapiro for visual art.

Center BINGO with Pride and without Boy's Shirts

Clover Honey a new Broadway Baby

I am thrilled to announce that I have been cast in the hit, critically acclaimed comedy, When Joey Married Bobby currently playing at the Arias Theater in the Broadway theater district of New York City at 400 W. 43rd Street. The show, written by GLAAD award-winning playwrights, William Wyatt, takes on the controversial subject of Gay Marriage in a hilarious way! The character I play is Charity Divine, a Southern Baptist Minister's Wife and and Chairperson of the Selection Committee for the coveted "Christian of the Year" award. Television Photo Shoot

Under the Pink Carpet, is the GLBT-themed television magazine series that I correspond on. The show is broadcast on a PBS station WNYE or NYC Life, part of the Mayor's Office on Film, Theater and Broadcasting. The show's host and creator, Tony Sawicki and I went to the station for a special photo shoot that will be part of a dynamic publicity campaign. Photos of us and others from the station will be appearing in many different places, including New York City Bus Stop Shelters, as part of the project. I can hardly wait to see where the pics will end up! After we left the studio, I posed for some pics with Tony by the tv logo to remember the shoot by.

Big Gay Musical DVD Release Gala

I just love acting in movies!! First you have fun acting on set, then about a year later you enjoy the cinematic premiere gala, then you have a blast at the DVD release party. On April 6, I attended the DVD release of my latest film, the amazing musical-comedy call Big Gay Musical. It is the only movie where I appear both as a man and as a woman. I'm a lady performer at The Duplex and I also show up as a man to date Paul, the lead character. I'm so glad that this film is available on DVD now! I had a blast re-uniting with director Casper Andreas and cast members including Joey Dudding, Daniel Robinson, Steve Hayes, and Rick Skye - who is an amazing Liza impersonator and puppeteer of the legendary Madame! The release party took place at Club Therapy in New York City's Broadway theater district.

Fearless People Video

After the Expo, I went with Lovari to take part in an exciting MTV / Logo network Video Shoot for a song called Fearless People by J Fortino. The location of the shoot was at a Boxing Gym in Soho were we were joined by other dance recording artists Heather Leigh West and Dawn Tallman. There were some very sexy Boxers in the video and I played a girlfriend of one of the fighters. The video was directed by Frances Legge. I felt just like Barbara Streisand in The Main Event. Mike Diamond come by to do a news report on the video and I gave him a comical interview for Fierth.com.

GLBT Expo Video Lounge and Rodeo

It was time again for the annual GLBT Expo at NYC's Jacob Javitz Convention Center. I had the honor of being the hostess at the official Video Lounge sponsored by the Long Island Film Festival and managed by TV personality Ryan Wolowski. The cast of Under the Pink Carpet was also there to co-host with me and we screened special segments of our tv series and met fans. Tony Sawicki, Stephanie Butler, Robin Cloud and recording artist Lovari, who performs the opening theme song, Work It Out, were all there and we had a fantastic time. It was great to see the hundreds of exhibition tables of Gay and gay-friendly businesses, media and community organizations. We video taped a segment for Under the Pink Carpet were I had a thrilling time riding the Mechanical Bull at the exhibit for the Gay Rodeo!
