Pets in Dresses, Men without Shirts

I was thrilled to be a part of an evening of glamor, couture and high fashion where the superstar models who sashayed down the runway wearing stylish outfits were dogs and other critters that included cats, ferrets, turtles, bearded dragons, rabbits, hamsters, a pet chicken named Lady Gaga and my new dear pet Rocky, a Russian tortoise, who recently followed my home from the NY Metro Reptile Expo.  The annual fashion event was called Wow Wow Ugarte Pet Fashion Gala and it took place at the Toyota Ballroom at 645 11th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan in New York City on 4/29/2017. The night showcased the original creations of pet fashion designer Kevin Ugarte who introduced his 2018 line that included casual wear, elegant evening wear and elaborate fantasy costumes. A highlight of the evening featured a bevy of muscular male physique models who, along with Ugarte, strutted the runway sans-shirts walking large dogs. This special treat was done to promote the Hunks for Hounds calendar that includes hot photos of the fellows and dogs and raises funds for Philadoptables, a pet adoption organization in Philadelphia PA. URBAN ANIMALS host Tony Sawicki took to the stage wearing an Arabian Nights costume and holding a 7 foot yellow albino snake named Balboa.  I had a blast with Summer Strand, Rich Johnson (The Dog Show), Stacey McCosky, Robbyne Kaamil, models Zamueth Sosa and Andrew Joseph and many others.

Bonnets On! Easter Parade!

In my Easter Bonnet, with all the frills upon it, I felt like the most lovely Lady in the Easter Parade.  I loved celebrating Spring and Easter strutting down famous Fifth Avenue with all my dear friends at the traditional annual New York City Easter Parade on April 16, 2017.

Scottish Fun at Tartan Parade

I had a wonderful time celebrating my lineage with dear friend Ryan MacDougal Wolowski of Viacom MTV at the 19th annual New York Tartan Day Parade on April 8, 2017 on 6th Avenue in New York City.  It was tons of bagpipes, plaid and men in kilts at the event celebrates Scottish and Scottish-American culture and heritage.  We loved meeting the Grand Marshal of this year's march, Tommy Flanagan of the hit TV series Sons of Anarchy and the film Gladiator.  We also had a blast with our other Scottish friends including Rugby star Ken Brice, The Kilted Yogis and the Scottish Terriers and West Highland Terriers.
