St. Patrick's Day Parade 5th Ave NYC
I had a great time celebrating St. Patrick's Day by marching in the 257th annual NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade on 5th Avenue in New York City. The march, which runs up 5th Avenue form 44th to 79th Streets in Midtown and Upper East Side Manhattan, is one of the oldest and longest parades in the world. I was joined by dear friend Ryan Wolowski, reporter/journalist from Manhattan Neighborhood Network and actor from the TV series Billions. I was honored to meet the Prime Minister of Ireland Leo Varadkar who was in town to partake in the parade. Varadkar is the first openly LGBT elected the Head of State of the Republic of Ireland. We marched with the Lavender and Green Alliance, an
organization of Irish LGBT people
with a mission to create an environment where our lives and histories
are shared and celebrated. They offer cultural and educational programs
that include researching and recording stories of LGBT persons within
the New York Irish community. After the parade we stopped by Saint Patrick's Cathedral, Times Square and NBC TV Studios to visit friends.

Pupscouts Hollywood Red Carpet Dog Fashion Show
I loved adding my glamour to the annual Pupscouts
Hollywood Red Carpet Dog Fashion Show at 225 East
57th Street, Midtown Manhattan, New York City on 2/10/2018. Since 2018, according to Chinese Lunar Astrology, is The Year of the Dog, Asian dragons and acrobats also added to theme of the evening. And in keeping with show biz tradition, "Joan Rivers" (impersonated by Linda Axelrod) greeted guests on the red carpet with interview questions. This all gave new meaning to the phrase "Bitch stole my look!"
Here is an article about the event I wrote for the Urban Animals Magazine:

Downton Abbey: The Exhibition
This Lady loved exploring the world of the Lords, Ladies, Earls, Countesses, servants and others from the hit PBS Masterpiece Theater series of Downton Abbey. There is a special exhibition at 218 West 57th Street in New York City, where fans can experience the history, fashion and palaces of 1920s Britain. The show transports you to post-Edwardian England, where the
characters and the iconic house come to life. We were immersed in the
fascinating social history, culture, and some of the most memorable
moments from the show’s six-season run.
