OUTloud Music
On Monday, November 5th, I rocked the house with a musical number as part of the Out Loud Musial Performance night at famous performance venue on the Lower East Side, Rockwood Music Hall. The event was produced by Out Music, an organization of Lesbian, Gay, Bi and Transgender musicians and supporters. The goal is to promote, share music and provide support in a safe, welcoming community. One of the songs I sang was "I'm just a girl who can't say 'No'" from Broadway although I joked that my New Jersey accent may not fit in with a song form "Oklahoma!" I also told some jokes about my difficulties in transitioning into a Lady, which requires more complex ways of sharing intimacy. Saying "no" isn't something Guys worry about or even do! The event was hosted by the hot Rock band called Telling on Trixie with lead singer Derek Nicoletteo and guitarist Brad Small. The band is thrilled to have a top ranking Music Video being broadcast on MTV's Logo Network! They guys gave a hot, electrifying performance that everyone loved! Also performing that evening were Robert Urban from the popular band R.U.B.,Latin dance/house music performer Lovari danced and sang some of his original music. Mary Edwards, Frank Grimaldi, John Raymond Pollard, Morrey Campbell and others also gave some excellent musical performances. The event is produced by PM Magazine columnist Jed Ryan, who is also adorable besides being an avid music lover and supporter!
I’m a Television Personality, Transgendered Socialite, Drag Diva Entertainer and Stand-Up Comediane with a busy, zestful social calendar. My name is Lady Clover Honey, which loosely translated means. “Lady with Abundance of Sweetness.” This Blog is to document and share my varied and unique experiences as a Lady which include -
Television production (Under the Pink Carpet), movie sets, live performances on grand stages (Carnegie) - to funky Downtown haunts – to Comedy Club / Cabaret Rooms (Caroline's on Broadway, Duplex, Laugh Factory) to the Broadway district stages ('When Joey Married Bobby') Plus socials, balls, premieres and parties that celebrate everything and anything. My favorite celebration is “Today.”
