Night of 1,000 Gowns
What a wonderful time I had at the 26th annual "Night of 1,000 Gowns" fundraising gala at Broadway Ballroom in the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square in New York City on March 31st! The event was an extravagant Royal Ball and Coronation Ceremony produced by the Imperial Court of New York and celebrating the rein of Emperor XX Vanity Society and Empress XXV Pepperica Swirl and the crowning of new monarchs Emperor Ritz Kracker and Empress Witti Repartee. The event raised funds for PFLAG and New Alternatives. I had a marvelous time flirting and mingling with dear friends Gerald McCoullough (CBS's CSI Crime Scene Investigation), comedian Lisa Lampanelli, Amanda Lepore, reality TV stars Mike Ruiz (A-List), Miguel Allure Rodriguez (Jerseylicious), Alex McCord and Simon VanKempen (Real Housewives of New York City), Miss Veronica Vera (Miss Vera's Finishing School for Boys who want to be Girls), Michael Musto (Village Voice), Olympic Figure Skating Champion Johnny Weir, Marty Thomas (Wicked), Francous Ratzel (Bearlesque), Tym Moss (Artists Exposed Radio), Winnie McCroy, photographers Jed Ryan, Wilson Models, Jason Russo, recording artists Ari Gold and Adam Barta, Kevin Novinski, Mark Schulte, Anu Singh, Sassy, Fred Anguera and many others!
I’m a Television Personality, Transgendered Socialite, Drag Diva Entertainer and Stand-Up Comediane with a busy, zestful social calendar. My name is Lady Clover Honey, which loosely translated means. “Lady with Abundance of Sweetness.” This Blog is to document and share my varied and unique experiences as a Lady which include -
Television production (Under the Pink Carpet), movie sets, live performances on grand stages (Carnegie) - to funky Downtown haunts – to Comedy Club / Cabaret Rooms (Caroline's on Broadway, Duplex, Laugh Factory) to the Broadway district stages ('When Joey Married Bobby') Plus socials, balls, premieres and parties that celebrate everything and anything. My favorite celebration is “Today.”
