Tansgender Youth Rally in Jersey

In the wake of the Trump Administration withdrawing federal protections for transgender students, I was one of the thousands of activists will rallied in Jersey City on 2/26/2017 for the "most vulnerable" members of the community.
President Donald Trump cruelty and viciously revoked federal guidelines that allowed Transgender students to use the restroom designated to the gender the identify within public schools.  The rally in Jersey City, held in partnership with Garden State Equality to "rise up" and "fight back" against the attack on Transgender youth.  More than one thousand gathered in the Newark Avenue pedestrian mall in Downtown Jersey City to protest the administration's actions.  "Trans youth, the most vulnerable in our community, are under attack," organizers reminded everyone. "In this time of uncertainty, we must continue to work tirelessly to ensure that our young people have a safe place to learn and grow into confident and educated adults."  Jersey City - which has been named the most diverse city in the nation - has been home to several similar rallies since the incompetent and immoral Trump was elected president.  At the rally were Jersey City Council President Rolando Lavarro, Jersey City Council Member Jermaine Robinson, Jersey City Council Member Candice Osborne, Garden State Equality Executive Director Christian Fuscarino, Hudson Pride Connections Center Director Jonathan Lucas, Jersey City Pride director Michael Billy and many others.
