NYC Easter Parade 'All in Clover'

In my Easter Bonnet, with all the frills upon it, I felt like one of most grandest  Ladies in the Easter Parade.  We were "all in clover" as we celebrated the holiday of Springtime and Rebirth at New York City's annual Easter Parade, an exciting spectacle to see and be seen in.  I made my appearance with comrads from Jerseylicious and ran into some people from Real Housewives of New York.  For over a hundred years, Fifth Avenue in Manhattan is closed for vehicle traffic from 48th Street to 57th Street for people to strut their stuff, showing off their Easter ensembles and headgear.   From the glamorous to the outrageous, thousands of people commemorated the festivity with fierce fashion and tons of fun!

Vamping for The Bronx

I had a wonderful time performing and co-hosting a glamorous gala to benefit a The LGBTQ Community Services Center of The Bronx called Valentine's Vamp. The Soiree was postponed after the Valentine's weekend snow storm, but we still had the spirit of Love and Romance in March.  The event featured dancing and music by DJs Michael Hades and Steve Sidewalk, live entertainment and a sizzling Bachelor auction!  The entertainers included recording artist Lovari, Tym Moss (of Artists Exposed radio show), pop artist, singer, TV host PVaz, Spicky Hilton, Athena Reich, Andrea Alton (as Molly Equality Dykeman), L'Tifah Tigress,  Sissy Van Dyke and more!  There were also special appearances by recording artist Ari Gold, Jason Hellinger (Inked magazine) photographer Rob Ordonez (aka "Mr. Paddles"), fashion designer Geary Marcello (Foxxy Face Couture), Eddie Berto (aka "Mr. Metro-Cub"), actor Taylor, Peter Frank and more!  The gala evening took place at Club Rebel, 251 West 30th Street, New York City on March 23rd.

St. Pat's for All Parade

I was so happy to be part of the 13th annual St. Pat's for All parade in Sunnyside and Woodside Queens on March 3rd. The St. Pat's for All Parade celebrates the diversity of the Celtic, Irish and Irish-American communities of New York City. The parade, first held in 2000, cherishes and celebrates an inclusive St. Patrick's season.  The St. Pat's for All parade was created in response to the shameful organizers of the NYC 5th Avenue St. Patrick's parade excluding Irish GLBT organizations. The St. Pat's for All parade embraces the theme of "cherishing ALL the children of the nation equally" taken from the Easter Proclamation of the Irish Republic.  I had a blast meeting the Irish residents and marching in the parade with NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg, NYC Council Speaker Christine Quinn, NYC Comptroller John Liu, NYC Council Members Danny Dromm and Jimmy Van Bramer, GLBT Liaison to Governor Cuomo - Erik Bottcher, Gerard Mawn of Staten Island Pride, members of the NYC Police fraternity GOAL (Gay Officers Action League), Brendon Fay of the NYC Irish Arts Center, male supermodel Ronnie Kroell, Michael Mallon, Sebastian Maguire, Chap James Day and many others!  It was all green beer, corned beef, green bagels, bagpipes, leprechauns, puppets, dancing, laughing and loads of fun!
