Greenwich Village Halloween Parade!

I had the most amazing time as part of the 40th Annual Greenwich Village Halloween Parade, the largest Halloween celebration in the World!  Marching bands, floats, giant marionettes and tens of thousands of ghouls, ghosts, goblins, witches, monsters, devils and all sorts of other celebrants got all costumed up and took part of the spooky spectacle and headed up Sixth Avenue in New York City's downtown historic Greenwich Village. I was a glamorous she-devil.   It's much more fun being naughty and devilish than being an Angel, if you know what I mean!  I had a blast with Lovari, Rolanda Rose and many other fierce friends. The parade had to be cancelled last year due to super-storm Sandy, but this year was raging with revelry with joyous celebration.  Lucky for us, the weather this year had unseasonably mild temperatures making it agreeable for the guys could wear skimpy and shirtless costumes!

I had a wonderful time with Lady Bunny and so many of my Drag Diva sisters as we got together in Thompkins Square Park in the East Village of Manhattan to re-create a 1999 performance of Wigstock, the notorious, legendary Drag Queen festival that took place on Memorial Day weekend in New York City from 1984 to 2005.  The reenactment took place on October 30th and was filmed for a scene in a major motion picture starring Heather Graham and Gina Gershon.  We all had such a blast and can't wait for the release of the film.  We're sure it will be a blockbuster mega hit!

Halloween at Auntie Mame's

'Tis the season, when we get decked out in crazy costumes and roam the streets looking for Tricks and Treats!  I a spectacularly spooky time at "Halloween at Auntie Mame's"Susanne Bartsch's annual Halloween soiree at the lavish grand Buddakan club at 75 Ninth Avenue in the West Village - Chelsea area of New York City on October 26th.  Being among the opulent Asian decor with the colorful denizens of Manhattan's nightlife scene made us feel just like we were at the party that Mame Dennis threw in her Oriental-decorated Beekman Place home in the beginning of the classic film. It was an evening that none of us will ever forget.

Village People Cowboy Legally Wed!

I had a wonderful time at the gala reception for the legal wedding of my dear friends, Randy Jones,  the original Cowboy of classic disco group The Village People and composer Will Grega.  The soiree took place in the Penthouse atrium of The DL nightclub, 95 Delancey Street, New York City, on September 13th.  At also attended a wedding reception that the couple had in 2004, but back then, New York State law didn't recognize same-gender wedding nuptials.  But this time Randy and Will became fully and lawfully wedded spouses and we couldn't celebrate enough.   I had a great time with actor Keith Collins, celebrity author Mark Bego, Olympic Gold Medal Champion Ice Skater Rob Shmalo, recording artist/actor Lovari, comedian Robbyne Kaamil, promoter Mark Schulte, "The Naked Cowboy" of Times Square, Warrington Gillete (Jason from Friday the 13th) media specialist Brian Christopher Cummings, columnist Michael Musto, and many more!
