"Shake Your Grove Thang" Studio 54 Re-lived
I had the most amazing evening
Disco-ing the night away at Dance 208: Studio 54, where the world's most
infamous nightclub was recreated. Lights and artwork was recreated and
of course, era music of the time was spun by DJ Ted Snowdon. The crowd
especially loved the Donna Summer tunes. Renowned Drag Diva Rollerina,
who roller-skated around the Studio 54 Dance floor and the streets of
Greenwich Village in the 70s, also stop by to make an extra-special
appearance!! The evening took place at The LGBT Community Center of New
York City on May 19, 2012.
