20 Years of Queens Pride
I was thrilled and honored to be a featured performer at the 20th Anniversary of the Queens LGBT Pride 2012. The Gay Pride Parade and Festival Celebration of the New York City Borough of Queens. Queens is the largest City borough in area and the most culturally diverse region in the North East. Performing with me on the Main-Stage were photographer/model Rob Ordonez and designer/rocker Geary Marcello. Other performers included recording artist Lovari singing songs from his new album "No Holding Back", the cast of Broadway's Wicked and headliner Martha Wash celebrating the 20th anniversary of her disco classic "It's Raining Men." "I'm still your Weather Girl!" she reminded everyone! And to invoke her song lyics, God Bless Mother Nature - We had perfect weather for a parade and outdoor festival! City Council Speaker Christine Quinn along with New York City Council Members Danny Dromm, Rosie Mendez, Jimmy Van Bramer, Julissa Ferreras and other politicians join in on the parade and celebrated the diversity and Pride!!
