The Big Gay Musical

Everyone loves openings! And we had the best time at the New York City Premiere screening of the latest movie I appear in, The Big Gay Musical. It's a hilarious and entertaining musical comedy film, produced by Fred Caruso and directed by Casper Andreas. The film is about an off-Broadway show called Adam & Steve, Just the Way God Made Them being produced while the actors try to cope with Gay, romantic and Slutty life in modern times. So far it's the only motion picture that features me as both genders. You can see Mr. Clover Welsh as Paul's Date and Lady Clover Honey as a Cabaret Performer! Besides myself, Lady Clover Honey, other in the wonderful new movie include Daniel Robinson (Hairspray), Joey Dudding (Enchanted), Steve Hayes (Trick), Celina Carvajal (All My Children), Brent Corrigan, Michael Musto (Village Voice), Slice O'Minnelli and Marty Thomas (Wicked). The Big Gay Musical is playing at Chelsea Clearview Cinema in New York City. I had the best time with friends Lovari, Jed Ryan, Jesse Archer, Allison Lane, Margaret and others who came out. It's a must see! You're sure to love it!

Fruity Comedy Cabaret

I always said that laughter and a sense of humor were the best fashion accessories that are always in style. That is why I was delighted to have the opportunity to be the Mistress of Ceremonies at the official Comedy showcase for the annual Fresh Fruit Festival. It was called Going Bananas and was held on July 11th at the renowned Cabaret/Comedy showroom Don't Tell Mama in New York City's Broadway Theater District. The show featured famous stand up comics like Kaitlin Colombo (NBC's Last Comic Standing) and Jaffe Cohen (Funny Gay Males, As Good As It Gets). Also in the line-up were comedians Johnny Tremendous, Evie Aronson and Transgender Funny Girl Rita Petite.

Naked Anniversary

Imagine a Lady in a room full of over 200 Naked Men!! That Lady was me on June 21st as I was a headline entertainer at the 25th Anniversary celebration for MAN (Males Au Naturel), the NYC area's largest Nudist organization for Gay and Bi men. I had the best time and the guys were a fantastic audience. I didn't have to get nude since only guys are required to bare it all. Which is good since if I were to get naked my tits would fall on the ground and roll away! It was also the birthday celebration of the beloved and gorgeous MAN President Paul Norcia, who took some good-natured roasting being a well-know nudist who's bare ass was seen by more people than the views of the finale of American Idol. Other entertainers included comedians Karith Foster, from Imus In The Morning Radio show on 77 WABC and Brad Leokle from Here! TV Hot Gay Comics and Electro Shock Therapy at Therapy Lounge in New York City.

New York City Manhattan Pride

The last Sunday in June is celebrated as Gay Pride Day. In honor and commemoration of the first Gay rebellion that took place during a police raid of a Gay bar called the Stonewall Inn in New York City's Greenwich Village on June 27, 1969. I celebrated by being part of Manhattan's LGBT Pride Parade down 5th Avenue and then performing on the mainstage at New York's famous Pridefest! I met up with Tony Sawicki and Jed Ryan from DishMiss.com who marched in the parade with the hotties from NYC's gay swim team, NY Aquatics. Then I went on the float for The LGBT Center where I host Center Bingo and road down 5th Ave. When finished, I performed at PrideFest with the Bisexual Rocker Houston Bernard who performed his original songs, and even recording artist Lovari also joined us on stage.

Queens Pride

I loved being part of the annual Queens LGBT Pride celebration. Queens is one of New York City's boroughs and it is the most diverse of all the LGBT Pride celebrations. I did a hilarious comedy routine that had everyone entertained and also performed on stage with during a powerhouse performance of Free To Love, that was also a political statement. Billboard Recording Artist Lovari wrote, arranged and performed his original song, Free To Love, a statement of Marriage Equality. Additional vocals were provided by the amazing Jannifer and physique model Tass and erotic entertainment star Tre Xavier also perfomed with us in the number. It came as no surprise that Lovari was voted the best male entertainer of the Festival. Lovari was also the featured cover story in the Queens Tribune newspaper. I had a great time backstage with my friends from the NYC Gay Men's Chorus, Appolonia and other entertainers who took part in the festival.

Staten Island Pride

I love exploring all of the boroughs of New York City, so on June 7th I adored yachting out to Staten Island to be one of the headline entertainers at the annual Staten Island LGBT Pride Festival. I actually took the Staten Island Ferry accross New York Harbor with my talented and sexy friend Lovari, the Billboard Recording Artist and SAG actor who was also one of the featured entertainers for the Pride event. The mainstage at the Fest was hosted by hilarious comedians Shawn Hollenbach and Paul Case. Other entertainers included Josh Zuckerman, Scottie Gage, Indian M., and the fabulous Drag Diva Appolonia Cruz! The crowd was amazing and they loved my rendition of "My Heart Belongs to Daddy" where I was accompanied on stage by hottie erotica star Tre Xavier. They all loved my appropriate island-print gown and I received a rave review in the Staten Island Advance newspaper.

Pride BINGO

It was time to celebrate Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Pride and what better way to do that than with gambling!! And, if its a charity fundraising Bingo game for The LGBT Community Center of NYC, all the better. I absolutely love being the official monthly hostess and ball-handler for Center BINGO. Time Out NY magazine called it a New York City Essential and gave me a rave review!! My special guest hostess for June Center BINGO was hilarious, comedienne, actress and advice diva, Robbyne Kaamil! And we love being joined by the gorgeous Physique Model Tass.

Rosebuds at Men's Chorus

We all had a wonderful time at the annual Rosebud Party, a garden party held at a grand estate in Westchester county New York as a benefit for the New York City Gay Men's Chorus. The guys in the Chorus gave a small concert at a church across the street that was fabulous. And we loved mingling on the gardens, terraces and balconies at the beautiful estate. The buffet and open bars were delightful. Myself and other drag divas donned pretty floral print garden dresses and hats to complement the garden theme of the soiree.
