Yes, it's HALLOWEEN, my favorite time of the year! When else can you dress up slutty and outrageous and run around the streets looking for Tricks and Treats? Well for many of us, Halloween is every day! But still, it's the best holiday ever! I already attended a special sacred circle led by Grove Agentum of The Fellowship of Isis, a Neo-Pagan Wiccan spirituality clan to honor Halloween, or what Pagans call Samhian, the ancient Celtic "Summer's End" Harvest Sabbat when the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead is at its thinnest! On Wednesday evening October 31st, I had dinner with my fabulous girlfriends from CDI at The Irish Rouge Restaurant. M2F Crossdressers and Transgender and some spouses, friends and admirers gathered for a Halloween dinner and had a costume contest for fun. I was the Hostess of the contest and the winner was Rita, who was a fabulous Mae West. A close second came a lovely lady who was dressed as a beautiful Zebra, complete with a stripped made-up face. I had a wonderful time with the all the costumes and camaraderie that my wonderful friends provided. After the dinner, I headed down to the Lower East Side with Rolada Rose over to the Bowery Poets Club to be a special guest singer for R.U.B. rock band. The Poets Club has been turning into a premiere downtown Rock concert venue since the legendary CBGBs closed across the street. RUB is award-winning musician/producer Robert Urban (of The Robert Urban Band) on vocals and lead guitar, bassist Steve Sullivan (also of The Robert Urban Band), electro pop-star Gordon Smith (of Rubberlegs band) and on vocals and synthesiser keyboards and drummer Ant Maulella (also of Rubberlegs). RUB always rocks the house with their talent, energy specializing in 70s - 80s Rock classics. The special guest vocalists besides myself were V*I*R*G*O, Baron, Terry Christopher, Francesca and Chuck of Temptress. I did my version of "Sweet Transvestite from Transsexual Transylvania" complete with sexy fishnet stocking hose with garter belts. The crowd went wild. Many of the men told me that I was a much sweeter Treat than a caramel apple! Don't ask about the Tricks! I always liked hearing howling mysterious sounds echoing through the night. On Halloween is seems much more justified. R.U.B turned the club into a wild version of Rocky Horror Show with all the costumes, make-up, kick-ass band playing and dash of fabulous Drag! I'm so hauntingly grateful to CDI and R.U.B. and all of my good friends for making this Halloween so screamingly special!

National Stonewall Democrats - Halloween Fundraiser
Since nothing has ever been Scarier or more of a Horror than the last two Presidential election results, going to a Political fundraiser with a Halloween theme on the Day before Fright Night seem perfectly natural. My dear friend, Transgender activist and Judicial Delegate Melissa Sklarz held a fundraiser for the National Stonewall Democrats at Chelsea nightspot XES on Tuesday, October 30th. John Hoadley, the newly hired Executive Director of the National Stonewall Democrats was vising New York City and it was an honor to be able to finally meet him. And what a doll he is! Like me, he has brains and beauty, only he expresses and dresses as a man. The National Stonewall Democrats is a network connecting LGBT Democratic Activists across the country. Stonewall Democrats is a grassroots force for social change withing the LGBT movement and within the Democratic Party. I am very proud to be a member of a political organization that issued a call for Congressional Democrats to support a proposed amendment to prevent discrimination based on Gender Identity. The National Stonewall Democrats and more than 150 groups announced the launch of a united lobbying and advocacy campaign to win passage of the fully inclusive Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), H.R. 2015.
I am on the Board of the NYC Chapter of Stonewall Democrats, so usually when I attend political events I try to dress more like a genetic woman, and less like a Drag Diva. But since it's Halloween and they said to wear costumes, I wore an Elvia gown and accessorized it with huge "diamond" jewels. Three of our City's Out elected officials visited us during the event. They were Senator Tom Duane, Assembly Member Deborah Glick and Assembly Member Micah Kellner. The hilarious and fabulous Hedda Lettuce was an extrodianary entertainer at the event. She were a star-spangled ensemble and performed in front of the American flag. Her jokes included her satirical campaign for USA President, claiming that a vote for her would make it unnecessary to decide if you wanted a man or a woman working in the oval office, since she is a combination of both! Also attending the event were: Matt Carlin (President of the NYC Stonewall Democrats), Tony Juliano, XES owner/manager, Jon Winkleman, Bob Zuckerman Caprice Bellefleur, Madelyn Madalaine and many others.

Dance 208: Halloween Dance
On Saturday, October 28, I went to Dance 208: The Halloween Dance at The LGBT Community Center of NYC, where I was the Celebrity Hostess and Mistress of Ceremonies for the Costume Contest. Dance 208 is the longest running continuous Dance Party in New York City. The hall where the dance takes place looked especially haunting with decorations to die for by artist David Availles. The crowd came up with many creative costumes and I met so many of my friends and acquaintances who dropped by to celebrate the Holiday! There was also a special screening of Schwarzwald, a movie you can dance to shown on three big screens. The film was very Gothic and about the infamous Black Party in NYC. The movie stars F2M Transsexual star Buck Angle "and a cast of thousands." Schwarzwald lets you experience New York City’s underground Black Party first hand – but it goes beyond simply documenting the legendary event. Producer Stephen Pevner and writer/director Richard Kimmel have instead created a truly original art film merging the revelry of the annual event with ancient druidic rituals, resulting in a provocative, eye-opening allegorical fairy tale. Schwarzwald follows Buck Angel on a transformative journey through the forest culminating in the orgiastic spectacle of the Black Party.
The Celebrity Judges at the Costume Contest were the Drag Legend Rollerina, Mr. Metrobear Cub, Empress B and Emperor Craig Hollywood - the monarchs of the Imperial Court of NY and David Availles. They had a hard time picking a winner out of the final two contestants, an electric Bee Bitch and a fierce Drag Grace Jones. They finally went with Bee Bitch! My girlfriends came with me, Madelyn, Pettie Pie, Kelly and Caprice, who modeled an adorable Tracy Turnblat costume complete with a huge can of Hairspray! It was also great to see the regular guys who keep the dances going like manager Joe Fiore. I had a great time laughing and dancing with Bruce Michael Gelbert, Will Clark, Jeff Eason, Mike, Tony, Manny and all the other guys. And I received so many complements on my sexy she-devil costume with references to "horny." That's Men for you!

Sexahol Review - Halloween
On Friday, October 26, the latest edition of Evan Laurence's Sexahol Review had a slight Halloween theme and a new location. It took place at the Parkside Lounge on the Lower East Side . The place has a nice Cabaret performance room and it was decorated with skeletons for the Spooky season. I did some of my Stand-up and after the set, I stripped off my long skirt to reveal my luscious long legs in fishnet hose and garter belts. This was done to invoke the classic Rocky Horror Show character, Frank N Footer, as I broke out in my rendition of "Sweet Transvestite From Transsexual Transylvania ." That song is a lot of fun and a real crowd-pleaser. One of the many reasons I love this time of year is so I can belt out that number! The comedy duo, Fantastic Genius, performed one of there many enjoyable skits. Evan did some of his brilliant Improv comedy and introduced a new drag character, Linka, who hilariously has a few unique problems! David Slone performed some of his original music. Lovari, the sexy Latino dance/hip hop recording artist made a fun appearance and sang the duet "Witchcraft" a la Sinatra, with me to continue to celebrate the Bewitching holiday.
Gay Erotic Expo
On Sunday, October 21, I attended the annual Gay Erotic Expo. The event is a huge exhibition of everything that has to do with the All-Male Adult entertainment industry including entertainment and live appearances by Adult Male Erotica film and video stars! The event took place in the famous Puck Building, which is shown as the building where Grace Adler works in Will & Grace. I went with Stephanie Butler and Tony Sawicki and we produced a segment for our entertainment news Television series, Under the Pink Carpet. Of course absolutely everyone had the best time ever! How can you go wrong with a huge convention filled with thousands of men in states of arousal with all the visual stimulation? You can't! Our buddy Houston Bernard, the tremendosly popular Bi rocker/rapper recording artist met us there and modeled one of our UPC Tee Shirts! He also drove the crowd wild with an electrifying musical performance! He always does! Drag Diva Jackie Beat was the hostess of the show. I also met some old friends from Wild Latino Boys. I Also met up with our pals Max Scott, Denzel Washington, Brendon Cross, Mikey, Mark, Andre, Fernando and I loved meeting Paul from Broke Straight Boys, a video company that instead of using Gay Porn stars, pays handsome Heterosexual men to do things that are NOT very straight. Being Straight he certainly appreciated my female beauty!

Legally Blonde - The Musical
On Tuesday, October 16, I was pleased to be invited to attend a special performance and reception of the smash hit Broadway Musical Legally Blonde! It was so awesome to once again meet the bubbly star of the show, Laura Bell Bundy! She was stunning as always and mentioned to the audience after the performance how the Actors Funds helps all kinds of performance artists "even Drag Queens" she said as she smiled at me! The story is one that I truly identify with, being a blonde myself! It's a "fish out of water" saga about a fun-loving California Blonde going to Harvard Law School to win back her boyfriend. At first she doesn't fit in, being at a place where everyone is so serious and wear black even when no one is dead. But she eventually wins everyone over with her charm and enthusiasm. Jerry Mitchell, who I met several times at Broadway Bears, was the director and dance choreographer. The sets, the supporting cast, the music and dancing were all fantastic. And one of the best parts of the show were the adorable dogs, a Chihuahua named Bruiser and a Bulldog!
A Hot Mess
On Sunday, October 14, I went to Hot Mess, a fun and wild weekly Gay party held at Porky's NYC in Chelsea. That night was also a celebration for Birthday Boy Chris Ryan, the promoter for Hot Mess and other fantastic and interesting parities in the big City's Gay Gotham. Ryan is among the coolest and hippest party guys ever! His parties really ROCK! At a special time, a big tray of cupcakes with candles were presented to him. He made his wish and blew hard! Epiphany, Logan and Acid Betty were there with a packed crowd of Hotties. I saw Steve from Paladino Casting and met several of my guy friends there. Each of them patiently waited their turn to dance with me! They're all so adorable and even tastier than the cupcakes.
Naked Boys Singing - The Movie!
"Talk about a Show with Balls!"
On Friday, October 12, I had the pleasure of attending the New York City premiere screening of Naked Boys Singing - The Movie. The screening was held at the Quad Cinema in Greenwich Village with a spectacular opening night celebration held at Splash nightspot in Chelsea. I went with Stephanie Butler and Tony Sawicki to create an entertainment news report for our TV series, Under the Pink Carpet. The movie has the same songs from the stage version that has been playing around the world for over a decade. Like the title suggests, the movie celebrates Male Nudity, in all it's full-frontal beauty and glory. The film also features 10 different gorgeous actors (more than the stage version) who don't mind baring it all for the big screen. And seeing all the chiseled and beautiful bodies and body parts illuminated on the big screen of the cinema made the show much more different that experiencing the live stage version. I had a wonderful time with actors from the movie, Ethan Le Phong and Jaymes Hodges. I also had a great time with executive producer Kirkland Tibbels from Funnyboy Films and Lewis Tice form TLA Releasing. Unfortunately, all of the men stayed fully-clothed during the screening and party. The only nudity that evening was on screen! Not counting the Men's Room! This is one fun and enjoyable movie that everyone MUST see!!

NY Senate Salute to Pride
On Thursday, October 11, I was invited to attend a special reception held by The New York State Senate Democratic Conference to honor our State's LGBT Community and to coincide with National Coming Out Day. The gala was held in a ballroom in New York City Hall and hosted by NY State Senate Democratic Leader Malcolm A. Smith and Out NY State Senator Tom Duane. I am on the Broad of two Democratic organizations (Stonewall Democrats and Jim Owles Liberal Democrats) where I provide an inclusive Transgender viewpoint. I'm always pushing boundaries and hope to make being Transgender and alternative Gender expression a more acceptable way of being. The Senate honored a dear friend and Tony Award winning actress (Grey Gardens) Christine Ebersole; the world renowned Oscar and Tony Award winning actress Vanessa Redgrave; Platinum Recording artist Deborah Cox; Emmy nominee and Creator of the hit tv show, The Closer, James Duff; Grammy Award winning musician Janis Ian; Director, writer and producer Lee Rose and others. I was wonderful to meet Ms. Redgrave. She spoke about her famous father, Sir Michael Redgrave being a Bisexual. She also spoke of her performance as a Lesbian grieving the loss of her long-time partner in the HBO series If These Walls Could Talk. I had a great time meeting up with NYC Council Members Rosie Mendez and Bill De Blasio, Jim Owles Liberal Democrats President Alan Roskoff, columnist Jimmy Brezlin, Andy Humm from Gay USA tv series, Dirk McCall, Michael Collossi, Scott Talbolt, Howie V, Yetta Kurland and others. After the reception at City Hall was over, we headed to the after-party at Splash Bar nightclub in Chelsea were we met up with promoter Beto Suter, Splash owner and manager Greg Jones and Drag Performer Shequida.
