On Friday, November 29th, I performed in the Cabaret Series, Sexahol Review! It's a fun and fabulous show the provides Musical, Stand-Up and Improv Comedy performances. It's presented by Evan Laurence and this month's performance showcase featured David Slone and the renowned Jazz vocalist Joan Crowe. Joan is not only vocally talented and as smooth and polished as a diamond, but she adds comedy and fun in every performance as well. It was an honor to be in a show with her! If you aren't able to see her perform in person you can view her fantastic podcast at http://funnyjazzchick.com/. Everyone enjoyed Ms. Crowe's music and comedy. The also loved my Stand-Up set and my musical performances of great Camp Classics including "Whatever Clover Wants" and "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" in the voice of Carol Channing! David also had some original music and he and Evan treated us to a great round of audience participating Improvisational Comedy! The evening took place at the Parkside Lounge in Manhattan's hip East Village. A night of Jazz, great music and laughs was a wonderful treat and I was happy to be part of the performance! The event took place at The Parkside Lounge in NYC's hip Lower East Side.
